Have been on the phone to Telewest this evening, and after much transfering and "please can you find someone who does know" I have found out that they do not/can not, supplythe remote extenders due to there not being a high enough customer demand.  HOWEVER, should I be able to find said module, it WOULD work on their digibox. She advised me to contact Pace to find where I could get one from.  I assume this is what was in your email Jason??

I then decided to have a little play with my digibox, and have discovered that there is 5v DC (as labeled under the jack plug) across the tip and sleeve(ground) and about 2.5 volts accross the ring and sleeve of the jack plug.  Now looking at RS part number S1U20 needs a supply voltage of 2.7 - 5.5V.  Would it be a simple matter of connecting one of these to a jack lead (a'la Hauppauge TV cards) or am I just being completely crazy??

Sure someone will know the answer to this, but if not, I will obtain one of the receivers and give it a try.

Stuart

I e-mailed pace about this and this was their responce.

Hi Jason,
Thank you for your Email regarding your Pace Cable receiver.
The remote extender and Blaster modules, are the responsibility of the
network providers (cable companies) to have manufacture and supply should
they decide to do so (this are similar to Sky and the Tvlink module).
Hope this information is useful to you.
