Sorry Tim, we hi-jacked your thread a bit there :-)
Do you have any limitations in terms of depth? Wall mounting brackets
can support quite a weight, but I find that large wall mounted TV's
look awful as you can't help noticing them sticking right out from
the wall as you walk in a room. I had a quite an extensive look
around the 29" 4:3 and 32" 16:9 offerings last week and both we
round
about 50cm deep (slightly more for the WS) not including any wall
bracket or stand dimensions.
WS seemed to be about twice the price for comparable makes/models.
28" WS seemed very small when watching 4:3 ratio pictures, but it
might well be ok for bedroom use. I personally would go for a 4:3
set, between 21" and 26" as this is not going to be the main Home
Cinema set anyway.
As for the make and model, I have had several Sony Trinitrons and
found them all to be excellent picture quality, especially the Wegas.
This looks a good price

KV21LS30# as does this

KV29LS30S though the latter is probably too big for bedroom use.

P.S. Ivojo seems to have the best price for TH42PWD4, did you post
the name because you have used them before?
P.P.S. I am lucky enough to have a perfect terestrial signal, we are
quite high up and get very good signals from two different
transmitters, so I should be OK without a dish for now.
