RE: [OT] BT in Shock Service Story!

Personally, I’ve never had a problem with any of the BT guys who’ve been in my house, and I’ve been through ISDN a couple of times, and ADSL into two houses.  They always been professional, and stayed around until I had finished fiddling with my PCs to get online.

I am sick of the BT bureaucracy though, it took my eight phone calls to cancel a line, and then another six to arrange re-connection!

A lightning strike took out our HomeHighway on Friday night :(

This morning (SUNDAY) a BT van drove down our lane around 11:00am and
fixed it!  Could have kissed him :)

Well done (for a change) BT.

M.
