Hi All,
Just about to take my first steps into Wireless LAN.
I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro with built in wireless although as yet I
have
been unable to get that working despite trying 2 different wireless LAN's.
I
did however have it working with a Lucent PCMCIA Card when I stayed at
the
broadband enabled "Gordon Intercontinental Hotel" back in May.
I'm sure its
just a config problem so I am not overly worried about that (also I
usually
just plug in a 100Mbit cable anyway!)
What I need is a recommendation for an Access Point and suitable cards
for
my iPaq and Fujitsu tablet.
Are the ones that Tony Butler is sourcing suitable for the iPaq and Fuji,
if
so put me down for a couple.
What Access Point do I need that allow the above to connect to my
existing
LAN. Can it be the same subnet as my existing devices and can it be
configured to pick up DHCP addresses from my ISDN router?
Thanks
Keith
