They are the same card, the spec is the same, but they have a id chip which
prevents the driver from working ! its daft i know, i gather it was so that
they could sell it to two markets, it may be that the will produce a
unified driver as the prices of the true Orinoco cards has dropped so much
now that there is litttle difference between the two

One of the websites I found when looking for
info on these cards
mentioned Orinocco cards (formerly WaveLan
Turbo) or words to that
effect, suggesting they are in fact the same
card rather than just ones
made in the same factory. Of course,
that's no guarantee that they will
work in the situation you describe, but
perhaps makes it more
likely......
