RE: Open Sesame!
Rob,
I though being bonkers was a pre-requisite for UKHA membership . . .
Haven't seen the furniture you mention however, in the solitary issue of
Max
Power that I bought (hangs head in shame) a lot of the cars had
motorised
"parcel shelves" which lifted to reveal their "stereos"
(generic term ;-) ).
They were probably even remote controllable. I don't have any contact
details - I'll guess you'll have to go and buy the mag, although I'll
look
to see if I still have my copy. Alternatively you could approach some
in-car
installation companies / fitters.
Cheers,
Tim H.

OK now your gona think I've gone completely stark raving bonkers!
I've said in previous posts that I want my HA to be as hidden as
possible, unfortunately Node Zero is going to be in my office upstairs,
bad planning as I should have located it in the utility room, but
that's
another story!
So....all of the kit; Comfort, C-bus, 240v consumer units, patch
panels,
server are going into a built in cupboard.
BUT.......I want a motorised door on it (Any body seen the type of
thing
on Hulsta furniture?) I've got a chippy who's going to build the
cupboard but just need to source the motors and control unit, anyone
seen such things on their travels?
Oh bugger more expense!
Can't take it with you, so may as well spend it!
Thanks
Rob
