I bought one on behalf of my Father-in-Law, and did everything that previous
emails suggested before I gave it to him, but it still went flat very quickly,
especially when using the flash.  He spoke to Kodak CS, who sent out a new set
of batts, but they made no difference, so they've now asked for the camera &
dock to be sent back to their repair centre for analysis (in Belgium!).  It's
been with them a week so far.....

BTW, it doesn't use that much power - runs for ages on a regular set of alkaline
batts, so it's just a charging fault.

Has anybody on the list who still has their Kodak digital camera got any
battery tips?
Mine seems to go flat after 6-8 pictures regardless of the length of time I
charge it for.
I have never known anything suck the power like it.
