Just a word to the wise about the SmartLinc blaster as I was suckered
into
believing the specs too. I'm not sure how they claim this range even
when
amplified.
I wanted to use this kit to flood an area in front of my AV cabinet with
IR

amplifier block.
Wasted a good deal of time with this and with Ken Watts advice came to
the
conclusion that it was simply pants and went for the amplifier block
and
stick on emmiters. It's worked flawlessly since.
As they say, your mileage may vary.
