RE: Fire proofing Node 0 ?
I know others have mentioned fire extinguisher systems but one I have
seen
used on some of the robots on Robot Wars is really simple.
A plastic tube with a sealed end.
This is connected to a CO2 cylinder at one end. The tube is run around
the
area to be protected. In the event of fire, the tube melts and the
highly
pressurised CO2 extinguishes the fire by suffocation.

In public buildings you are required to seal any gaps in fire proofing
(such
as cable entries) with intumescent foam, like filler foam, but expands a
lot
in the event of a fire to ensure seal.
I know screwfix do this, might be worth while.
