The subject was now changed somewhat from Mark M's original email this
morning and I concur with Mark H above that a formal framework would be ver= y
beneficial from both the organizer and the participant's point of view. For=
example I think the following would be very useful:

1. Bulk buy rules of engagement, based on Mark H's original draft
2. Standard method of Bulk Buy participant registration and tracking throug= h
one website
3. A specific 'charity' type bank account for payments made to and from
4. Volunteers willing to handle the administration of funds, separate to th= e
bulk buy organizer ie keeping everything open
5. Agreed method of UK delivery etc etc

I for one would be very happy to help in this process to formalize 'getting=
good deals' for the group.

Tony,

As I said, I'm not under the impression that you're profiteering on this...=

The area where I disagree is that I believe that we need to have the concep= t
of an "official UKHA bulk buy", with agreed rules, and that, long= -term, this
will be good for the community. For those who've been on-line for a long time, you'll remember that similar things happened to the CIX sales channel= s
about 10 years ago, and, whatever it felt like at the time, ended up good for the community as a whole.

... Yes, the end-game for this _IS_ pre-release ReplayTVs...
