distance
I got on fairly well at work
this
week so hopefully I'll be able to try a 17Km link sometime late next
week.
I've got the WAP11 and an Orinoco Gold card (Thanks John if your reading).
I've
ordered two Jaybeam 17dB Gain aerials which should arrive the start of next
week. The WAP11 connector is a reverse TNC Plug. To make one simply swap
the
inner parts of solder type male and female cable connectors. The Orinoco
connector was very hard to source. It is MC Card type connector, after
ringing
around all our suppliers and at first quoted £62.00 I finally
managed to
get a company to send me a sample which again should arrive next
week.
According to the path
profile
software it is a clear line of site from the two locations, so fingers
crossed.
I'm interested if anyone else has had any success yet
?
