I had my main number on an analogue line.

Got Home Highway on that line, so the main number became 'analogue 1' and
there were two other numbers (analogue 2 & digital) allocated by BT. 
Some
months later, I decided that I would get an ISDN PBX / router and so wanted
'analogue 1' to be my digital number... I asked for a renumber, specifying
that analogue 1 should now be the digital number and BT could either assign
a new number to analogue 1 or swap the old digital number to that port.

In the end, I managed to get my main number on the digital port, but for
some reason ended up with two new numbers on analogue 1 & 2.  I seem to
recall there was also a problem getting CLI enabled on the digital port
(but
my memory is hazy here).

I now have one HH and one ISDN2e line going into a PBX.  I have MSN on the
ISDN line (could not get it on HH unless I got Business Highway).

The router dials out to BT Anytime on demand, taking up one channel of the
HH line.  I can also connect another terminal adapter to the HH digital
port
(it is just an ISDN bus) and use that at the same time as there is a
connection to PBX (voice or data).  However, if someone calls you at that
instant, they will get busy tone.

Other points to bear in mind for HH (not business highway/ISDN):
You don't get call diversion
You don't get call deflection
I couldn't get 'network hold' to work (i.e. put one call on hold in the
network & pickup the inbound call)
Don't have 3 way calling (conferencing).

I am thinking I can get BT to switch the numbers for my analog ports over

be used as MSN's on the digital line, so I can use an ISDN PABX for my
exisitng numbers!

If this is the case, the question is, are ISDN PABX's tolerant of having
one
of their channels blagged by another device?

I expect to have my TA connected "beyond" the PABX, such that if
I am using
64k, there's only one chanel available to the PABX, and if I go 128k, it's
got none..

I imagine this is bread and butter of using ISDN?
