Quite true, but most modern sets will sync to 60Hz.
 
My 1985 vintage Ferguson MC05 in the kitchen wont handle 60Hz so Region 1 DVD is a no-no but all the other sets handle 60Hz fine including a cheapy Bush 14" about 3 years old.

Actually Keith, unless the TV will handle 60Hz scan frequencies too you'll get *NO* picture...

Dont forget they use NTSC not PAL.
 
Unless you have an NTSC compatable TV you will get a Black and White picture.

How much of the stuff from this site is useable here inthe uk, I understand the electrical limitations such as 50/60hz and 110/230v but the x10 camera deals look very inviting!!
