if your job/reputation depends on getting this right then go for one of the ethernet options. They might be more expensive but there is less to go wrong and if it does go wrong your boss can scream at the ISP not you!

The MD has decided to go for ADSL, and also wants to connect 3 PCs in 3
different rooms.

I know how to do the hardwired vs. wireless bit.

The question is: What should I say in terms of :

--- single-user ADSL connection, Linux PC running smoothwall with ADSL
"card", separate 4(8)-port switch

--- single-user ADSL connection, some dedicated ADSL device to
connection share/be a firewall

--- single-user ADSL connection, one of the (Win) PCs running ICS with
some form of firewall

???

Recommendations/suggestions?
