Indeed, it's a bummer when you wire the the patch panel for one standard
and
then use _slightly_ different socket modules at the other end with the
wiring diagram set for the OTHER standard :(
I did this - was wiring up, checking all my connections, ran out of socket
modules, bought some more that were laid out differently so not obvious
which pin was wich - still, they did have a nice colour coded diagram on
them to follow - which I duly did.  Of course, by this time I wasn't
bothering to check the connections as I made them as when doing 48 sockets,
you soon get to know if you have punched down the wires correctly!
It was only when I finished & went back to test them that I realised
the new
modules displayed the other wiring standard :-(((
Lost heart & still haven't rewired a lot of them - the 'just in case I
ever
need them' ones, so am doing it as I need a socket & discover it is
still
reverse wired :(

seems to be, though only 1/2 a dozen or so emails so far - maybe the
promised backlog has actually been dumped, as I can't believe how few
messages would have been queued for this group.......
