Paul,
Something to consider, I have recently built for £300 PC's with a 900MHz
Celeron and 256MB of ram in from NEW components, in a book PC case.
Whilst no rackmountable, it will sit on a shelf in a rack cabinet.
I'll get some more details together tommorrow about this.
