If you have say, X10 P1 sent on when the system is armed, does it send off when disarmed regardless of the pulse/toggle setting?

no you would send say P2-ON for disarm

I don't think that is the case.  Mine is not set to toggle (30s)  and I get C4 ON set for arming then C4 OFF for disarming. The code 4 is set to trigger on arming. This all seems to work very well and the resultant of C4 ON is an SMS message providing confirmation, and the house goes into 'away mode'.  On C4 OFF if it is 'night time' lights are turned on and house reverts to 'home mode'

Like the idea of the bell push

The unit clearly states it requires a 9 VAC power supply, however, the PSU supplied with the unit is 12 VDC.

There is a sticker on it that says it works, but I'm worried! Is it really ok?

Yes mine is 12V too...on wireless-alarms.co.uk they advise a bigger supply if you have an external box with strobe (http://www.wireless-alarms.co.uk/Powermax_sounder_external_psu.pdf )

Is the cable that connects the unit to the X10 thing straight through or crossed?

Straight

Also, the ability to add an extra device or devices to the door transmitter is great. I was thinking of adding a bell push to

the one at the front door. Any of you guys added anything out of the ordinary to one of these?

I'm planning on the bell push for the front door too! and maybe a PIR or beam-break in the back gerden fed from the back door..

Sorry for all the questions, I expect there will be more, hope you don't mind :-)

NP

Cheers,

Justin.
