personally i'd disagree with the statement about PC LCD monitors not having good colour rendition. i have 2 LCD panels that have been Pantone calibrated, something which requires far more accuracy than displaying video.

in fact, i've just seen the price of the panasonic ... £1,200. you are having a laugh.

the panasonic may look nice, but for less money than the panasonic, i could go and buy a 18 inch flat panel and use it as a tv. i know which one i'd prefer.

Because a 15" PC monitor isn't a widescreen display whereas the 15" Panny is a 16:9 panel, also the PC LCD monitors tend not to have the colour rendition that is required for accurate video imaging. The PC monitor doesn't look as nice as the Panny (it is gorgeous).

But they are so expensive. Why not get a 15inch LCD computer monitor, buy a tuner and then buy a SCART to VGA adapter?

Yes ... the 15" is superb!

More planning of the new pad is under way. I’m thinking about an LCD TV in the bedroom. Are they any good?
