Title: Message

Keith,

Phil’s just been telling me that if I remove the termination then the KAT5 Tx unit will be quite happy sitting between my RGB to SVideo converter and my plasma without degrading the signal. Are the KAT5 units DC offset aware? Both Panasonic units respond to a 5V DC offset on the chroma pin for widescreen switching.

This would make life simple for me!

Tim

Over 2 cables, yes.

1 for RGBS, the other for Audio. You could have a 4 channel audio unit with Digibox sound on 2 circuits and audio feed from your main HiFi to the bedroom.

Hey Keith, this is getting really bad – in addition to the CAT5 bus for clipsal it looks like I’ll need a KAT5 unit to pipe output from the digibox into the bedroom J Can you do RGB+sync+audio?
