Gents,

Apologies in advance for the OT post, but Im hoping someone here will be
able to help me before I go MAD.

Like Phil, I took advantage last year of the offer from Tempo for a compaq
laptop, which at the time looked like a great deal. My laptop, which is
still under warranty, has now developed a display fault. No problem thinks
I, contact Tempo and arrange for it to be repaired/replaced.

I go to Tempo's website to find that they ceased trading on 24th September
last year, and so cant replace under warranty. They have a list of
manufacturers to contact but, surprise, surprise, the number for compaq
laptops "is not recognised" and a search of the company returns
nothing.

Does anyone have any idea's of where I go now, as Im literally pulling my
hair out.

Thanks in advance for any help

Stuart
