The thing to wait for is VPN server built in to the AP, I am sure you
will not have to wait long that the moment there is only one manufacture
that offers this, but demand for the boxes is so high the others will
follow soon. The Netgear will perhaps be described as IPSec pass
through, this will allow VPN but the server is not on the AP you have to
have it else ware on your network. So in your case if they say it has
pass through then you will be ok.

It will also mean that you will be able to connect to a external VPN
server outside your lan from a laptop on the WLAN. I would love to do
this but my router does not do this, so I have to switch to a pc with
its own TA when I need to connect to a customers site
