From an email from Adrain Lines, maintainer of the uk multitainer site, in response to a question on pci cards...

 

The AIW has moulded leads which i fed through 3 no. 20mm holes cut with a hole saw and finished with rubber gromits.........then I was happy !!

 

So it seems that it is as expected from looking at shots, that there are no blanking plates for pci cards. Just means a little DIY to get ins/outs out of the box so to speak..

 

I'm planning the exact same thing.

 

A Tivo Killer or 3! (Already have 3 wintv cards lined up)

Don't worry about it. I was just wondering if it would take my Hauppauge
WinTV card so it could act as a ShowShifter/SnapStream machine as well
(after upgrading that puny 10Gb harddisk).

And very nice it is. Will be a long time before I will achieve this, but
keep those gadgets coming and I'll be on a 2nd mortgage faster than you can
say bulk-buy ;-)

I'm not too fussy either; playback in my case will be on dirt cheap 21"
TV... I'm more worried with the PC not being able to keep up with the action
and starts stuttering or skipping audio.
