How many disks do you need?
Pioneer used to due 6 disk changers that used the same cartridges as their
hifi ones, they also did a rather nice 500 disk unit with up to 4 scsi
drives (about £18000 as far as I can remember), no idea whether any of this
stuff is still available or updated with DVD drives.
To my mind the sony MDP CX 850/60 would be perfect if only it had a scsi or
ide connection to the internal drive and a serial connection for disk
selection.

Hi all,
Anyone here have any experience with cd/dvd
changers?
I seem to remember talk of a sony
unit.
What I am after is building a pc based one for
feeding the dvd drive with disks and storing them again.
Does anyone on the list have experience of
robotics?
I'm not sure where to start!
