On-list, since it might be of interest to others...
There's a UK selfbuilders mailing list, UK_Selfbuild@xxxxxxx.
I'd be less than surprised if others on this list weren't already on
it.
There are also three monthly magazines that can be useful; "Build
It",
"Self-build and Design" and "Homebuilding and
Renovating" (I think).
