Have just bought a Cannon MV400i from Staples ?578 includes firewire card
and software (crap) DV in and out.
Not the most expensive camera out there, but fantastic value for money. I
bought it for general shots of the family and friends which it copes with
well.

My only critisism to date is that my son has a bright red fleece and you
can
get a bit of ghosting around the edges under certain conditions. Apart from
that I am really pleased.

Looking to purchase a digital camcorder so just wondered if anyone here had
any recommendations or experiences (good and bad) they would like to share.

Cheers,
Mark.
