OK ... I spoke with Li yesterday on an unrelated matter and mentioned this to him. He's simply been using FedEx Express Service which gets the things here, cleared of customs and on his doorstep within 3 days. The cost for bringing in 34 Fujis (which was the bill he had nearest to hand) was - IIRC - £434 plus there's whatever import duty that he pays too.

Dunno if this is being a bit cheeky or not, but couldn't we asm Li how he got hisa cross?
I mean, he's selling them @150 + VAT and making a profit and shipping em inf ast.
If we pay another 10-15 quid for shipping then we're up to 130-135 - dangerously close to Li's price.
Maybe he found someone to do him a good deal as otherwise he'd be making nothing at all.......
Although it's taking business away from him in a way because we're buying them direct, perhaps he would be willing to share this info.......

Pedro is correct - Im trying to do it so that I dont have to ask for any more monies - now THAT would add more headaches !

I'm in contact with PS every day so far for the past few days and will do so until we get this sorted.

I thought we had paid an extra 15 GBP per unit due to shipping costs being
unknown.  We were then to get back/put in whatever difference there was in
the price we paid.  As I see it the price difference wouldn't be that bad
since we might only have to put in a small amount just to cover the UK
shipping.

This is all from memory so I could be way off target but I'm sure Gareth
will do what is best for us all.

Agreed here too.....

Under a tenner a unit is fine, especially when you consider that we are
getting them for a total cost of £120 plus say the extra Tenner, that's £50
cheaper than you can buy them in the UK :-)

Well that's my 0.02p

As an aside is it worth having a poll to see what the general consensus is?
