For control via a joypad, Halo does a very good job.
The Xbox is competing with the PS2 and GameCube so therefore is aimed at
a totally different market. 12-30 year olds who want to just pick up a
controller and play, preferable with a few of the their friends. This is
where the PC loses out big time ... it is just single user.
Either way, both the Xbox and a decent gaming PC have their advantages
and disadvantages; which you buy is always going to be based on your
requirements.
