I think that the plug based model is certainly a good idea. I think
there was some discussion a while back about mounting a DIN module
inside a hoover (or maybe I was just talking to myself again). Of
course any plug based solution would be larger than your average
plug, but not as big or unsightly as an appliance module. The casing
might be a bit of a challenge though, hence the reason I was thinking
of a module inside the equipment where there is likely to be more
room.
