I once caught the cable of an iron as I was walking away, and dragged it
onto the floor. It fell a distance of not much more than about 1 metre, and
landed pointed-end first onto a wooden floor... it was fuxored! - the sole
plate partially broke away from the body of the iron, and it was beyond
repair.
£40 for a new one thanks!
