Re: IRDA extenders?



I wasnt able to find any irda extenders on the market.
The Fuji works great, except for the irda port being on the bottom edge so
you have to hold it upside down :-(
Any pc with an irda port that can be addressed as a com port (very
important) should work though.

I spoke to someone earlier this week about controlling these boxes.  They
said they'd manage to read in the string from the remote into the IRDA port
on a Fujitsu 510, and play it out again to control the TV.  I'm going to try
the same soon, and see what I come up with.  If it works, I should be able
to control the box with my PC.
