That would be excellent.
Regarding privacy, I think that full postcode should not be disclosed, but place names should not be a problem, so I can see that Patrick and John live in London as well, so I can contact them directly and arange a mini meeting, maybe.
I don't see a way someone can abuse information that I live in West London.
And people will submit this information voluntarily anyway, so if someone is really paranoid, shouldn't give his details.

Spooky, SWMBO's brother lived in Sedgewick Ave until 8 months ago.  There
are plenty of UKHAers around and coming out of the woodwork.

Mark S-J, do you fancy adding a simple form to your postcode site so that
people can submit their postcode (of part thereof) anonomously to give some
idea of distribution.  We've grown quite a bit since the last one (lots of
previous lurkers are taking the plunge) - and I can remember the list
getting flooded with locations and postcodes!

IF I get some time, I might put together a simple site that people can
register their postcodes and email addresses on and be able to send an email
to anyone within x miles - unless someone already knows of something that
will already do this that's free.  Obviously people's privacy needs to be
respected, but it should be possible to do something so that the initial
contact can be made through a site.
