I don't think it is that popular, having a brief look at the website
explains why, it is a hardwired solution so that rules out the majority of
people. In your situation a hardwired solution is not a problem, so it
really comes down to how much you want to spend and what you want to
achieve.

I am currently working on a hardwired system using tcp/ip over 10 mbit
ethernet and using PIC micros for the device interface cards. Not much use
to you now as god knows when it will be ready :)

I am just starting to realise that ;)


One word of advice on a new build, put in as much Cat5 as you think you will
need and then double it ;)
