Title: Message
Have you noticed any problems with video stuttering after installing the TurboNet card ??

I have installed one and every minute or so I am getting a glitch in video and audio on both  playback and record, i.e. the glitch is on the recording, obviously the MPEG encoding is suffering.I know playback is still glitching as I get them occurring at different points off recorded material. I am not sure this is however caused by the network card. Unfortunately it was a new machine that I immediately upgraded so I didn't test it thoroughly before. I have not yet looked at how to stop the network drivers loading to see if that returns it to normal operation.

You refer to TIVO drivers on an ISO image - where was this >from

Correct James!

Shipping was a bit steep but was tracked and only took 3 or 4 days. The module itself is v. small so if anyone did do a bulk buy onward shipping would be very cheap.

You are right about V3.0 in the US supporting Turbonet but does require a DHCP server on the local LAN. For UK standalone Tivos, drivers available on an iso image you can download and burn to CD. Uses static IP for UK 2.5.5 so you need to supply an IP address.

Really was piece of cake.

Not had the CC bill yet but the total incl P&P was $90.50 which according to currency converter is £62.06

More to the point, anyone fancy doing a bulk buy of these?  IIRC, the shipping for a single unit was around $22.  Must be some saving to be had there.

I also notice that Tivo software update 3.0 supports TurboNET (might be US only for the moment)

!!STOP MAKING ME SPEND MONEY!!
