The system I have in the house is a multiroom one this is rated at 7kW
cooling, do you know how this translates in BTUs?

Yup, the ones I was talking to someone about today were Whirlpool split
units that are 22,000 BTU both heat and cooling, US designed and built
so they should be pretty powerful. The best indication I can get on
price is less than =A31000 retail, usually there is least a 15-17% mark up<= BR> in that. The beauty of these, like the Homebase cheapos, is that they
are self install jobs so you don't need a refrigeration engineer to fit
them.

I am also trying to get prices on a multi-room system at the moment, but I don't know how that will pan out. Whirlpool intend releasing one on
the UK market but it looks to be 9-10 months away from launch here.
