Actually, the 1Mb one (890) was discontinued quite a long while ago, and it's just stock selling through.

Philips have confirmed that they're intending to continue production of the 940 until 2Q2003....
 
So, don't rush too fast :-)

It’s only the 1Mb one that goes, the later 2Mb one is going to be around a while yet!

This is to let you know that The Pronto RU890 and RU940 have been discontinued. This is quite a blow because their replacement ProntoNeo has been built to a price and is not as good as the trusty old pronto RU's. Don't be deceived by it's good looks, thats the 'only' improvement, It can't even use your old ccf files so you have to start programming from scratch.

Stocks in the
UK are probably down to the last 100 and then it's goodbye.
