I had such great plans for accessing my house systems over the
'net via broadband. Then today I received this:

I'm sorry if nobody has contacted you regarding the status of your
order. I have had a look in your notes and BT have cancelled your
order. They have had a look at de-daxing your line, but decided that
it is too expensive a job this time.

I'm sorry I don't have better news for you. If you want further details
please phone 150.

Needless to say the words running through my head at the
moment are non-repeatable.

So it looks like a satellite dish for me then as I'll bet BT will tell me
to ***k off if I go and order ISDN too.

There are about 45houses on my estate that are affected by this I
think. Maybe I should go round them all and get them interested in
ADSL.

***** (*&%( $&"(*"(* *(**& (*&"($*&** *&*(&, as they say.

Gutted. Just wanted to share my woe.

Stuart
