Thanks Peter,
I heard about last upgrade problems, but somehow everyone says that their TiVo works flawlessly, while I remember some complaints a while ago about stuttering, missing starts or ends of programs and similar.

This has been the case on TiVo since the last major s/w upgrade a couple of
months ago.  I now have HS cycling the power to the dodgybox at 3am, with TiVo
sending the 'sky' command before every channel change.  It's worked perfectly
since the upgrade, except my TiVo is currently dead, but I won't go there
(again!)...
