I've had Sky+ for quite a while now and think it's great apart from the
bugs that sometimes prevent recording of a programme :-(

With the new low prices of the Tivo, I was wondering whether I should
get one (or two!). I was going to feed the CCTV into a PC (with
multi-camera recording) but now wonder whether the Tivo will give a good
solution or not?

How controllable is it - i.e. is there a way of triggering record/stop
