We did too. To be honest the hose is so long it's just as awkward as carrying a normal vac about. However there's no dust, smells or noise with it. M. We fitted a central vac which is very good, I would definitely have one again if we built a new house, however I did hear of someone with one and the cleaner used it to unblock the toilet :-0 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
