Rob,

VanDamme stuff is good used by the Beeb etc - Maplins sell it retail -
remember 4 core will mean you have to go composite synch - I would strongly
recommend 5 core even if you don't intend to use it now.
Also I should mention - the black Panasonic Plasma screens use BNC
connectors - the silver use phono.

  Hi All

Did some phoning around today about cable types for distributing RGB and
S-Video. The consensus of opinion is that the below is as good as it
  gets for longer runs:

  VanDamme

268-304  Red series 4 core miniature coax  (This is good for two s-video
  connections or one RGB+C)

268-305  Red series 5 core miniature coax (Again can be used for s-video
or RGB, but also for VGA Monitor connections.)

You can buy it direct from

  http://www.vdctrading.com <http://www.vdctrading.com/>

by the metre but they supply trade only. CPC also sell it but
  unfortunately only in 50m lengths.

I'm going to run one of each giving me the option of S-video or RGB and
also PC Output. Seemed a good solution.

  Many thanks
