Don't know about the error message. Have you also tried removing NAV?
Paul.

I run this on a W2K SBS box with IIS and ISA.
I have just stopped the Nav services but still no joy...:-(((
Going to bed in disgust.....
Does everyone find these sort of problems get under your skin and you
just can not let it go!

The interface is OK but does need redesigning. Andrew at CHC was
working
on a new version but it still needs finishing. I'm planning to write
something in Director (or maybe Flash) as this is what I do for a
living
anyway. Only problem is that work keeps getting in the way (too many
projects!).
Were you involved in the 'Norton AV' thread on the ACE or Comfort
group?
Norton causes problems similar to what you see. Also setting the
correct
permissions on W2K/XP is critical. I spent quite some time trying to
get
mine to work (that was the Norton problem). I now run W2K server and
IIS
seems more stable on that - before it would totally hang on occasions
on
XP.
Paul.

Yes, Dan has been excellent as he always is even inviting me to phone
him at his home.
I can open .asp pages from the default web directory but none from the
AWI directory.
I have various colleagues try to sort it but still no joy.
Tonight I copied all the ACE directory and dumped it into the webroot
folder but still no joy.
I have deleted the ACE directory and re-created it, Dan sent me the
whole directory, still nothing.
It must be something to do with my setup but I can not find out what.
I have had various errors from not authorised to the usual "The
page
cannot be displayed"
I have thought of totally uninstalling IIS, deleting the inetpub folder
or the webroot folder and starting again but that sounds drastic....
I have even offered to PAY someone to fix it for me!!!
Not fun having no idea why it will not work!
How do you find using it anyway? looks to be a good interface?
B.

What problems have you got with AWI? Did you post to the ACE group
previously?
I've had mine working for several months now and have also taken the
.ASP pages apart and tweaked bits n bobs in preparation to send ACE
commands via Macromedia Director.
Paul.
