Michael - Thanks - now I *want* a touchlinc ;-). I now understand why someone warned me it was a downwards spiral subscribing here.

I actually have HomeSeer and use it to monitor X10 and can therefore kick the heating off from the PCs aswell but I'm trying to keep
it so actual control doesn't rely on the HomeSeer PC being on. If I use comfort to control the relays directly it also sends the X10
commands to keep HomeSeer updated.

Comfort has "time events" which can be programmed to send X10 (or turn outputs on/off) as required. There's no question though
programming it isn't trivial - I'm doing all via the keypad and its hard work.
