Now, I'd be extremely happy if I had a Meridian 800 series for playing musi= =3D=0D
c, particulary if paired with the Meridian active speakers.  I also th= ink yo=3D=0D
u will find that Meridian themselves consider the 800 to be just as good fo= r=3D=0D
music as for home cinema.

I also suspect that most people would have extreme difficulty in distinguis= =3D=0D
hing the Meridian set-up with Meridian amps and passive speakers from the L= i=3D=0D
nn CD12/Chord combination.  The fact that the Meridian can be used wit= h Meri=3D=0D
dian *active* speakers could well give it somewhat of an advantage.
