I am also considering the installation of a satnav system in my car.

I have a Garmin ColourMap StreetPilot portable system but I am not happy
about the ease of use of the system and, crucially, it has no audio
feedback. After a brief use of my brother's Kenwood satnav system in his
car recently, I have convinced myself to have one in my car too. I want
one that would take me from A to B with turn-by-turn instructions,
regardless of how many wrong turns I have made during the journey there. I
am sure that would save my marriage one day.

Perhaps we can buy together to get a better price.
