tivo phone adaptor help needed please

my parents =A399 dixon's tivo is due today (5 days late due to a securicor<= BR> cockup)

the problem is they don't have a phone socket in the lounge. the socket
is in the hall. (they use DECT phones).

there is a cable going directly from the sky digibox under two carpets
to the socket in the hall.

i don't really want to have to dig up the carpets and lay another cable.
is it possible to get an adaptor that i can put on the small sky end of
the cable (rj11?) with two UK sockets on that? then i could run two
cables, one from sky box and one from tivo, to that. does that make
sense? i've looked at maplin but can't see anything but maplin would be
ideal, there is a store nearby.
