RE: OT: FLAC ripper & ID3V2?

I have used Tag and Rename, but it only handles the tags.  I want to be able
to rip directly to FLAC with ID tags created automatically.

Unless I am missing something...

It appears as though I would need to rip to FLAC using something else and
then use T&R to redo the tags.  I am trying to avoid the two-step process.

Thanks for the input,

I posted this to the LanAudio group, but got no response.  Maybe someone
here has an idea...

I am in the process of blasting my CD collection to FLAC, and want to have
ID3 tags as well.

I couldn't find something that will do that all in one pass.

I am in the process of putting together a VB app that will work as an
"External Decoder" app for Music Jukebox which FLAC's a file, assigns
ID3V2
and V1 tags, and files it away...  It works, but if there is something out
there that does this already (for cheap) then I'd be better off.

Thanks in advance,
