mmm... anyone got a URL for the shuttle PC's?

I thought I'd put XP on it to power my plasma - doesn't need to do much - n= o
DVD as I've got a good standalone unit - don't want much else but web
browsing and maybe games. DVD-A might be good if the standard really takes<= BR> off (my Onkyo DVD player doesn't have support yet - but upgrade in design).=

I thought I'd control it directly using one of these really cool wireless keyboards

http://www.gyration.com/ke= yboard.htm

and a gyro mouse maybe - plenty of gadget factor there!

Paul.

Paul,

Out of interest, how are you planning to control the AV room PC, and what software will you be running on it?

I'd imagined that the AV room PC would be a silent, diskless thing (CF boot=
+ lots of RAM) that ran streaming audio/video over the network.

I was imagining that I would control it from a laptop / iPaq via a built in=
webserver, rather than directly.

Of course, finding a PC with enough horsepower to stream DVDs, while
reamining silent is hard :-(

Regards,

Mark

Looks interesting - just what I need for the AV Room PC. Shame the SPDIF OU= T
is on the front of the box rather than the back - It would seem logical to<= BR> keep the permanently connected bits on the back (i.e. connection to an Amp)=

Paul.
