UKHA 2003 Venues
The following information relates to the two potential venues for the
UKHA 2003 meet. As a reminder this will take place on the
Saturday/Sunday 17/18 May 2003. The venues were selected based upon
availability, proximity to road, rail and air links, price and
facilities. Broadly speaking, one is a cheaper option with very basic
facilities and the other is a more expensive option with good
facilities. Both venues will provide us with a main meeting room and
3 conference rooms. All food, drink, accomodation and travel
arrangements will need to be made by the attendees. It is quite
possible that there will be more attendees than there are hotel
rooms, so do make your bookings early if you require over night
accomodation.
As soon as I post this message I will open up a new poll to vote on
the choice of venues. DO NOT vote if you are not intending to attend.
If you do vote then please also indicate your booking preference in
the other poll I started yesterday. Both polls will be closed on
Friday and I will make the booking with the most popular venue. I
will at that time post a message requesting payment for early
bookings.

If you look at the URLs you can find out lots of information about
the hotels. We are getting a special rate for B&B on the Ramada
Jarvis so if that is the selected venue I will give details on how to
obtain that rate. Both hotels are about half an hour train from
central London (additional 4 mile car/taxi ride required for
Hatfield). Both are easily accessible from M1 and Luton airport (we
will probably arrange a minibus to do the airport run if there is
enough interest).
If you have any questions then please e-mail me first and I will post
clarification to the group if necessary. You can also usually get
hold of me on MSN (search for Solarfish).
Remember that the vote will be final by Friday, so please choose
quickly.
Regards
Graham
