FW: Sky & Stuff

In amongst the flame war did any one read my post below?

----------------------------------------

Hi All

Could someone give me a basic explanation on this one?

I've now got my plasma set up lovely over RGB Comp Synch. I'm feeding my
Sky, Tivo and DVD in no problem, delighted with the picture quality etc.

At the moment I've only got my mini dish connected to the Sky box. The
problem is that SWMBO is not too impressed with the fact that the TV
region on BBC1 (I can get ITV Westcountry via the Tivo, I get a choice
of channel 103's.???) is incorrect, you can't select it from the
Interactive menu as Westcountry/South West is not in the list. So.....if
I connect my TV Arial to the Sky box will I get a feed or is their no
tuner in a Sky box and it just loops the signal through to the TV? I
guess the only other alternative is a separate tuner box.

Helppppppp........

Also.......I would like to get my on-screen display from my Marantz AV
amp to the plasma. It outputs via s-video but I am now using RGB via
Scart. If I use a converter and go s-video to Scart and add it to the
chain will that work, will it sense a signal and switch?

Many thanks
