The 'X10 Bridge'is a piece of software what Active Home uses to 'talk'
to
the X10 interface over the serial port.
If you're closing Active Home, you can safely close the bridge.
Having said that, how long you continue to Active Home is the real
question,
as it's a very limited piece of software, you'll v.soon find things it
can't
do (Like turn the outside lights on at sunset). It's also pretty unstable
as
software goes.
Have a play, get the basics and then move on.
Lee.
PS. Make sure you've got the latest version, I think it's available
from
X10.com, the older versions (that came on CD) are even more ropey.

Hello,
I have just started using the x10 active home software but I am a bit
confused by the message "do you want to close the communications
bridge on exit". The help doesn't tell me what this is and whether
I
should click yes or no. Please could you tell me? Thanks.
